4 Ways to Boost Your Confidence (Featuring Rodan + Fields Lash Boost)


Happy Wednesday! First things first – I have been a little MIA from the blog lately but I promise it’s for good reason – I started a brand new job that I love, I’ve been exercising and focusing on my health a lot more, and I’ve been working on developing healthy, inspiring habits to incorporate into my daily routine. There’s a lot of change going on around here, and change is always good!

But with change can sometimes come a little bit of stress and overwhelm, and I always find it way too easy to get down on myself when things get stressful… I can’t be the only one! So today, I’m excited to share four ways to boost your confidence AND an incredible beauty product that’ll help boost your natural beauty up a notch!

1. Make a list of things you love about yourself

Fair warning that you’re going to feel absolutely ridiculous writing down “I have great eyes” or “I really like my smile” but believe me when I say that it actually helps. You can pull up one of your fave selfies, look in the mirror first, or just go for it! And you can also write down the things that you maybe don’t totally love as much, but you’re rockin’ it anyway!

2. Listen to an awesome playlist

Where are my Grey’s Anatomy fans at? You better believe I’m about to tell you to dance it out! Ever notice how every single dance party they’ve had on that show has ended featuring Meredith Grey with the biggest smile ever on her face? That’s because happiness is just unavoidable after having a great dance sesh to a kickass playlist. So next time you’re feeling down on yourself, blast your favorite music, love yourself and dance it out!

3. Set goals that you can crush – no matter how small

Girl, one of my goals every day is just to make my bed. Does it even get any simpler than that?! But the burst of energy and happiness that I get once this task is complete seriously translates into confidence and productivity All. Day. Long. It’s crazy how accomplishing even the smallest of goals can give us so much more motivation to keep going!

4. Find products that work for YOU!

Certain beauty products can not only improve our appearance and how we see/feel about ourselves, but also help us to create strong routines. I know that I personally build my morning and nighttime routines around my skincare! If any part of your appearance seems to be bringing you down, then just do two things: 1 – Freakin love yourself, cause you’re perfect. 2 – Find products to help!

A little over a month ago, I started using Rodan + Fields Lash Boost and I can honestly say I didn’t go into it with high hopes. I’ve been testing out all different kinds of lash oils, primers and products over the past few months because I felt like my lashes were getting shorter and thinner by the day. This product, however, completely changed my outlook.

It only took about two weeks for me to start noticing that my lashes were not only longer, but also darker and thicker, as well! The nightly eyelash conditioning serum has keratin and biotin, which both naturally help enhance the lashes. I absolutely love the fact that these are MY lashes, just better – I don’t have to worry about going to a salon for lash extensions every few weeks, or fumble around with glue to apply fake lashes.

One of the best perks (in my personal opinion) is the fact that I really don’t even need to curl my eyelashes anymore. Which is incredible because I don’t think I’ve ever met a woman who actually enjoys that torture device we use to curl our lashes amirite?! I can literally just wake up, swipe on one quick coat of mascara and go, so this product is actually helping to reduce my morning makeup time, too!

And the process is SO simple – all you gotta do is start with clean, dry eyelids, then wipe the excess off the brush and swipe it onto your upper lash line like you would with liquid eyeliner. Do this right before bed and let all that goodness absorb overnight! And for real, trust me when I say that a little bit of this stuff goes a LONG way. Do this for a few weeks and I’m prettttyy sure you’ll notice a big difference in no time!
