Can you believe that it's almost MAY?! I certainly can't — this year is going way too fast! Today, I'm sharing 8 products that I've been totally loving in April, and I know you'll love, too! Read on below for product descriptions and reasons why you need them, and shop all of my picks in the slideshow below.
Marc Jacobs Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter — I've heard so many great things about this product so I just had to try it out for myself. The gel highlighter is a stunning gold shade that's going to be perfect when paired with a summer tan! I love this product because it has five forms of coconut (alkanes, milk, water, fragrance and polysaccharides) to nourish and hydrate your skin, while also giving you a stunning glow. Be careful when pumping this product out, though, because the tiniest bit of this gorgeous gel highlighter goes a long way!
Lancôme Cils Booster XL Vitamin-Infused Mascara Primer — I've been wanting to try a mascara primer for a while so I was super excited when I came across this one! I've been using it for over a month now and I'm obsessed. This vitamin-infused primer goes on just like a mascara, except it's white! You can either apply at night for a deep conditioning eyelash treatment, or right before your regular mascara. It'll totally amp up your mascara; I immediately noticed more length, volume and darker lashes when I paired it with my regular Lancôme mascara!
T3 SinglePass Luxe Professional Straightening & Styling Iron — Not only is this straightener so aesthetically pleasing (white and rose gold, could you imagine a better combo?) but it works SO well! I use my straightener to do everything from curl to wave to straighten, so this thin but powerful one works wonders. And they aren't lying when they say SinglePass - you won't be going over the same section of hair over and over with this bad boy!
Kristin Ess Strand Strengthening Reconstructive Mask — I'm a hair mask junkie and this one did not let me down. I've been dying to try a product from the Kristin Ess line so I thought a mask would be the perfect place to start! While I wasn't a huge fan of the scent of this mask, I did notice that it made my hair SO soft and smooth. The mask itself is also very nice because it's not as thick as some you might find; it glides onto your hair like water!
Old Navy Laser-Cut Peep-Toe Sandals — If you haven't been buying everything from Old Navy lately, you're doing it wrong. These peep-toe sandals are made for spring and summer with gorgeous laser-cut details! Right now, they're offered in coral and white/tan, but I was lucky enough to snag them in metallic gold before they sold out. Any of these colors are so perfect for spring and summer, and these comfy sandals can be worn with any outfit!
7 For All Mankind Gwenevere Jeans — Have I sold you on 7FAM yet? If not, just know that these are the highest quality, most comfortable and best-fitting jeans I've ever come across as a 5'1 shortie. Worried about the price? That's why I always get mine from the outlet store or Nordstrom Rack for a MAJOR discount! The ones linked below are originally $219, but Nordstrom Rack is selling them for just short of $80! Talk about a steal!
Sanctuary Charlotte Off-The-Shoulder Top — I'm going to be featuring this stunning OTS top on the blog tomorrow so keep an eye out! But, I just wanted to give you a sneak peek because it's so perfect. The blush color is made for spring and the flowy silhouette is perfect for any body type. I'm also totally crushing on OTS everything lately, so this top was a must have for me!
Eat Pretty Every Day by Jolene Hart — This book is by a certified health coach and is full of a year's worth of tips and tricks to help you feel and look better from the inside out! I love all of the nutritional tips, recipes, self-care exercises and inspiration that can be found in this book. It is overflowing with great information but still super easy and enjoyable to read!
